How do I reduce size of photos suitable for uploading?

ImageResizer is a utility that assists in resizing digital images. It can be installed on Microsoft Windows XP only - so don't try to install on an Apple Macintosh, Linux PC, your Tamagotchi or any other device.
If you have Windows 98, sorry you are out of luck - even Microsoft no longer support Windows 98, so you will need to upgrade to newer PC.
Once installed, from windows Explorer images can be resized by right clicking and choosing "Resize photos". It gives a choice of photo sizes to resize to.
ImageResizer can be found on this page. Look for the link to the program ImageResizer.exe approximately 2/3 of way down the page, on right side. Download the file, run it, and it will be installed on your computer.

I uploaded images but they are not visible on my advert.. why?
|

When listing an item, the final preview page (prior to submission) will
show your advert exactly as it will appear, so if the preview does not show your photos, then they were not uploaded correctly.
Make sure the images you upload do not exceed the current size limit of 100Kb. If the image size is greater than 100Kb the photo will not be uploaded and an error message will be displayed at the top of page.

I would like to modify an advert.. How do I do that?

Editing advertisements
Ensure you have logged in with your username and password. click "Selling" in your members area to view your current adverts. Click 'Edit' link next to the advert.
Uploading photos after submission
Unfortunately there is no facility to do this. During fee listing period, the only solution is to remove your advert and relist with photos uploaded. Beyond free listing period, please submit a support request via the 'Contact Us' page and we will remove the listing and re-credit your account.

Why is my account deactivated ?
|

When you submit an advertisement, your account will be debited the advert amount.
Unless you have existing credit on your account, your account will go into debit.
At Suntrader accounts in debit are immediately de-activated until outstanding amounts have been paid.
Outstanding amounts must be paid before your advertisement will be displayed on Suntrader.

How to pay advert fees

Advertisement fees are paid via options available in the MEMBER section. You must be logged in to view your member section.
To view your payment options:
- Login to Suntrader with your username and password.
- Click MEMBERS link at the top of the home page.
- Click DETAILS to view any outstanding amounts.
- Choose your payment preferences and follow the instructions.

How do I remove a classified advertisement once it is sold?
|

- Ensure you are logged in using your username and password.
- Go to your members area by clicking on MEMBERS link on the main menu at top of page.
- View your current adverts by clicking on the icon titled Selling.
- Find your advert in the list.
- Remove your advert by clicking the Remove button in the Options column.

Why can't I put the price of my item in Description field?

This is necessary due to the manner in Suntrader derives listing fees for Classified advertisements.
Please read the extract below, from the site Terms and Conditions, part 7:
"Classified listing fees are proportional to the set price of the item. We provide this as a fair and reasonable way for sellers to sell items and also for Suntrader to be compensated for this service.
For this reason it is a condition of this website that when placing classified adverts the seller:
a) Will choose a price that they would genuinely take for the item.
b) Does not place any alternate pricing description anywhere else in the advertisement - this includes the title or description of the item.
We reserve the right to suspend or modify classified advertisements that violate this condition."

How can I list an item?

You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description |

How can I keep track of items I'm selling?

You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting the "selling" page. |

Can I use HTML when listing an item?
|

Yes you can, however we recomend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly. |

How can I place a bid?

To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place you chosen bid |
